Member Loan

Borrow for a range of purposes including for a vehicle, wedding, home improvements, legal or healthcare costs. You can borrow up to £35,000 over a term which suits you, up to a maximum of 90 months.

Consolidation Loan

Aim to improve your financial position by consolidating any existing debt up to a total of £25,000.

If you refinance any existing debts, you may pay a higher rate of interest or make repayments over a longer term. This means you may pay more interest overall.

Commutation Loan

Put your retirement plans into action up to 24 months before your retirement date. Whether you plan on a second property, home improvements, or buying a campervan, you can borrow up to £50,000 or 50% of your commutation entitlement (whichever is lower).

Repay the interest-only and settle your balance in full once you have retired. A pension forecast is required.

Things to think about

  • All loans are subject to affordability and No1 CopperPot Credit Union's lending criteria.
  • Missed repayments could negatively impact your credit file.
  • Life Protection is included with all No1 CopperPot Credit Union personal loans and covers you up until your 70th birthday. This does not cost you anything, it is simply another benefit of borrowing with the Credit Union. Loans are protected up to £40,000 per member. All benefits are paid at the discretion of the Board of Directors. Life Protection is not an insurance policy and is not guaranteed.
